What size bridle for a pony?

Lumiere offers pony-sized bridles in three sizes – mini, small pony and pony sizes – perfectly scaled for smaller heads and delicate features.

How do you know what size bridle to get?

Below is our size chart to help you measure your pony before ordering. As a general guideline:

• Pony fits ponies 12.2hh and above
• Small Pony is ideal for ponies 11hh and above (including Shetlands with proportionately larger heads)
• Mini suits ponies under 11hh

If the size you purchase doesn’t quite fit, don’t worry! You can return it within 14 days as long as it’s unused and the buckles remain undone. For more details on our returns process, click here.

What length of reins for a pony?

For the perfect fit, measure your reins as a single length from bit to buckle (excluding the buckle itself). Our pony reins are available in Mini, Small Pony/Shetland, and Pony sizes. Please refer to the size chart here to find the ideal fit for your pony.
